Zoome cashback, worked out in Canadian dollars
Up to 20% of a losing week comes back as a bonus every Thursday, depending on your loyalty level. Here's when it lands in Canadian time, how Zoome calculates it, and the setting that quietly switches it off.
How Thursday cashback works
From Zoome's bonus terms as published in January 2026 and its February 2026 promo card.
Zoome's weekly cashback hands back a share of what you lost over the past seven days, as a bonus. The share depends on your loyalty level, from 3% at level 2 to 20% at level 10, and it's credited every Thursday at 00:00 UTC. In Canada that's still Wednesday: 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time through the winter, 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time in summer, and earlier the further west you live.
It isn't cash you can withdraw straight away. The cashback carries 5× wagering and has to be used within three days, and Zoome's promo card tells you to activate it in the bonus section. Cashback is capped at C$7,500 (the euro terms say 5,000 EUR), and winnings from it at C$15,000.
Several conditions decide whether anything arrives at all. The week's figure has to be worth at least 1 EUR, your spend over the seven days has to exceed C$1.50, and, the big one, only real-money bets made without a bonus count. The calculation is based on slots activity; live-dealer losses have a separate VIP scheme, covered further down.

Cashback rate by loyalty level
Rates from Zoome's January 2026 terms. The last two columns are our arithmetic on a hypothetical C$300 losing week, not Zoome's figures.
| Loyalty level | Cashback rate | On a C$300 net loss | Bets needed at 5× |
|---|---|---|---|
| Level 2 | 3% | C$9 | C$45 |
| Level 3 | 4% | C$12 | C$60 |
| Level 4 | 5% | C$15 | C$75 |
| Level 5 | 7% | C$21 | C$105 |
| Level 6 | 9% | C$27 | C$135 |
| Level 7 | 10% | C$30 | C$150 |
| Level 8 | 12% | C$36 | C$180 |
| Level 9 | 15% | C$45 | C$225 |
| Level 10 | 20% | C$60 | C$300 |
The published table starts at level 2; Zoome lists no rate for level 1. Level 5 is the row used in the worked example below.
The formula, as Zoome publishes it
Spent sum = deposits − balance (including the bonus part) − processed cash-outs − pending cash-outs
Cashback = spent sum × your level's percentage
In plain terms: what you put in, minus what's still in your account, minus what you've taken out or asked to take out. What's left is money that's gone, and that's what the percentage applies to.
Two details follow straight from the wording. A withdrawal that's still pending is subtracted just like a paid one, so it isn't counted as lost. And the balance includes the bonus part, so bonus money sitting in your account lowers the figure even though you can't withdraw it yet.
Zoome doesn't explain how the formula meshes with its rule that only real-money bets without a bonus count. If you played with a bonus for part of the week, expect less than the formula alone suggests, and ask support for the breakdown if the number looks wrong.
Worked example · hypothetical player
The player and the amounts are invented to show the arithmetic. The rate, the 5× and the formula are Zoome's.
- Loyalty level5 (7%)
- Deposits this weekC$500
- Balance at calculation (no bonus)− C$50
- Processed cash-out− C$150
- Pending cash-out− C$0
- Spent sum (net loss)C$300
C$300 × 7% = C$21 cashback. At 5× that's C$105 of bets to place within three days before the C$21 and anything it wins can be withdrawn. Slots count 100% toward wagering; roulette counts 5% under Zoome's general bonus rules, which would turn C$105 into C$2,100 of roulette bets.
Had C$50 of bonus money also been sitting in that balance, the spent sum would drop to C$250 and the cashback to C$17.50.
Six ways to miss a Thursday cashback
All straight from Zoome's terms. The first catches the most careful players.
The "receive bonuses" switch
If you've switched off the option to receive bonuses, cashback isn't credited. Players who turn bonuses off to dodge wagering lose this too. Deposit bonuses only apply when you pick one in the pop-up, so leaving the option on doesn't force one on you.
Betting with a bonus active
Only real-money bets made without a bonus count. A week spent clearing welcome wagering or free-spin winnings earns little or no cashback.
Playing live tables
The Thursday figure is based on slots activity. Losses at live roulette or blackjack fall under a separate scheme, VIP Live Cashback.
Letting it expire
You have three days from the credit, which in Eastern time ends around Saturday evening, and the card says to activate it in the bonus section.
A very small week
Under 1 EUR's worth of cashback, or C$1.50 or less of spend over seven days, and nothing is credited.
Sitting at level 1
The published rates start at level 2. Level 1 has no rate listed.
Live Cashback and other VIP refunds
Separate from the Thursday scheme, and only for players with a VIP status.
Live Cashback returns a share of your live-casino net losses over seven days, by VIP status, with no wagering. It's paid on Saturdays between 00:00 and 00:09 UTC, which is Friday evening in Eastern Canada. The minimum loss is C$15, the maximum payment C$750, and the maximum win C$15,000. Zoome's own pages disagree on the top rate: the terms list 12% for Secret, while the February 2026 FAQ says "up to 10%", so expect 10–12% at the top depending on the page.
Two more appear in Zoome's material. Fast Track Cashback paid 5% of losses daily, automatically, with 5× wagering, on a card priced in euros in February 2026, so we can't confirm it for CAD accounts. And the VIP FAQ promises "daily deposit insurance, with up to 25% cashback", without further detail.
Getting there takes serious volume. Bronze needs deposits of 6,000 EUR and bets of 60,000 EUR in one quarter, or the Fast Track route: 1,500 EUR deposited within one casino day (UTC). Zoome's terms pair 5,000 EUR with C$7,500 for the cashback cap; at that 1.5 ratio, Bronze is roughly C$9,000 deposited and C$90,000 wagered. A status lasts a quarter and can't be lost during it.
| VIP status | Live Cashback | Wagering |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 3% | None |
| Silver | 5% | None |
| Gold | 8% | None |
| Platinum | 10% | None |
| Secret | 12% | None |
Zoome's bonus terms, January 2026. Paid Saturdays 00:00–00:09 UTC; minimum loss C$15, maximum C$750.
Climbing the loyalty levels, and whether it's worth it
Zoome has 10 loyalty levels, driven by comp points: you earn 1 CP for every C$30 bet on slots with real money, and points only start counting once you've made a deposit. C$3,000 of real-money slot bets therefore earns 100 CP. The documents we read don't give the points needed for each level.
Put the two together and the trade-off is plain. The higher rates go to the players who bet the most, and every rate is a partial refund on money already lost. At 7%, a C$300 losing week returns C$21 that still has to be wagered. Compared with 40× on Zoome's deposit bonuses, 5× is light, which makes cashback the more useful perk for anyone who skips deposit bonuses. It's never a reason to play longer.
Our Zoome review weighs the whole bonus programme, and the withdrawal guide covers getting cashback winnings out.

Zoome cashback: common questions
When does Zoome pay cashback in Canada?
Every Thursday at 00:00 UTC, which is Wednesday at 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time in winter or 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time in summer. You then have three days to use it.
How much cashback does Zoome give?
It depends on your loyalty level: 3% at level 2, 4% at level 3, 5% at level 4, 7% at level 5, 9% at level 6, 10% at level 7, 12% at level 8, 15% at level 9 and 20% at level 10, up to C$7,500, according to Zoome's January 2026 bonus terms.
Why didn't I get my Zoome cashback this week?
The usual reasons in Zoome's terms: the option to receive bonuses was switched off, your bets were made with a bonus active, your play was not on slots, the week's figure was under 1 EUR or your spend was C$1.50 or less, or you were at loyalty level 1, which has no published rate.
Does Zoome give cashback on live casino losses?
Only for VIPs. Live Cashback pays 3% (Bronze) to 12% (Secret) of seven days of live-casino net losses, with no wagering, on Saturdays between 00:00 and 00:09 UTC. The minimum loss is C$15 and the maximum payment C$750.
Do I have to wager Zoome's cashback?
The Thursday cashback carries 5× wagering, so C$21 of cashback needs C$105 of bets within three days. VIP Live Cashback has no wagering. Fast Track Cashback, seen on a euro card in February 2026, also carried 5×.
Check your level before you count on it
Your loyalty level sets the rate, and one account setting decides whether you get anything. Open the bonus section once it's credited, on Wednesday evening Eastern time, and activate it.
