Zoome verification, right the first time

When Zoome asks for documents, which ones its terms name, how long the review takes, the deadlines that can freeze a payout, and how to photograph your papers on an Android phone so they aren't sent back.

When Zoome asks you to verify

Not at sign-up, not to play, but almost certainly before money leaves your account.

Zoome's FAQ, captured in February 2026, is clear on the first point: you don't have to verify your account to start playing. You can register, deposit and play without sending a single document.

The terms then reserve two rights. Zoome "may request verification at any time", without saying what triggers it. And it can check your identity before processing payouts and hold a withdrawal until the check is done. So the first cash-out is the likeliest moment for KYC ("know your customer") to come up.

That's why the useful habit is to have your documents ready before you need the money. A request that arrives while a withdrawal is pending starts a clock, as the deadlines below show, and it's easier to reply the same day if the photos are already on your phone.

  1. At sign-up

Zoome's homepage says you confirm your account through an email or SMS link. That proves the address or number is yours; it isn't KYC.

  2. Phone number, in your Profile

A separate step, and the gate to Zoome's no-deposit spins.

  3. Any time

Zoome may ask for documents whenever it decides to.

  4. Before a payout

Identity checks before processing withdrawals, with the payment held until they're complete.

The documents Zoome names

Its terms give document types, not a fixed checklist, and say the list is "not limited to" these.

Zoome's terms (captured 22 February 2026) say the documents it may request "include, but are not limited to, passport details, identification cards, proof of residence, and statements verifying the source of funds". The clause on verification adds payment proofs and utility bills. The table below maps those types to what each one proves and to the documents Canadians typically hold.

Document type (Zoome's wording) What it proves Typical examples for Canadians
Passport details, identification cardWho you are, and that you're of agePassport, driver's licence, provincial photo ID card
Proof of residence, utility billThat you live at the address on your accountRecent hydro, internet or phone bill; bank statement showing your name and address
Payment proofThat the card, e-wallet or account you used is yoursPhoto of the bank card; screenshot of your e-wallet or online-banking page showing your name
Source-of-funds statementWhere the money you play with comes fromBank statement, pay stub

The right-hand column is our general guide, not Zoome's list: its terms don't name specific Canadian documents. If you're unsure whether something counts, ask live chat before you upload.

Latin or Cyrillic, or a video call

Zoome's terms require documents in the Latin or Cyrillic alphabet. If you can't provide that, it may ask for a video verification in which you hold up your documents. English and French documents are in Latin script, so most Canadians won't meet this rule.

The age on your ID

Zoome's own rule is 18+ or the legal age where you live, and provincial law decides that: 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Québec, 19+ everywhere else in Canada.

How long it takes, and the deadlines that matter

Zoome's FAQ says verification "usually takes up to 24 hours after you submit your documents". If something is wrong with them, you get an email explaining what to fix. If it's taking longer than that, ask support by live chat, at support@zoome.casino or on WhatsApp at +44 7831 130277.

The terms add three rules with real consequences. The first two run from a withdrawal request, so answering promptly keeps you clear of them; the third is why your profile details matter from day one.

Read these before you request a withdrawal

  • Two weeks. If Zoome can't reach you by email or phone within two weeks of a withdrawal request, your account may be locked for not completing KYC.
  • 40 days. Winnings may be forfeited if KYC isn't completed within 40 days of the request.
  • Refusals and mismatches. Refusing to provide documents, or documents that don't match your account details, can lead to the account being closed and its funds confiscated.

Phone verification and the details you sign up with

Most verification problems start at registration, not at the document stage.

Verify your phone number

Phone verification sits in your Profile and is the gate for Zoome's no-deposit spins: in February 2026 the promo card read Profile → verify your phone number → enter code PUSH30 for 30 spins on Dig Dig Digger, with winnings capped at C$45. Campaign codes come and go, so it may not work now. Details on our no deposit bonus page.

Use your real details

Zoome's FAQ warns against nicknames: incorrect details "could cause problems with verification later". Enter your name and address exactly as they appear on your ID, and keep to one account per person, which is Zoome's rule. Our registration guide walks through each field.

Your email can't be changed

The registered email address is fixed. Support can add a second address for contact, or you can open a new account, in which case the old one is closed. Sign up with an address you'll keep, because that's where verification and withdrawal messages go.

Can't get in?

If your account is locked or you've lost your password, our login guide covers the reset link and who to contact. If a verification dispute isn't resolved by support, see our complaints guide.

Photographing documents on an Android phone

General advice that works for any KYC check, not Zoome-specific rules.

  1. 1Flat surface, plain background. Lay the document on a table in a colour that contrasts with it, rather than holding it in your hand.
  2. 2Daylight, no flash. Near a window works best. A flash bounces off laminated cards and hides the very details that need checking.
  3. 3All four corners in the frame. Don't crop the edges: the reviewer needs to see the whole document.
  4. 4Sharp and untouched. Tap the screen to focus, then zoom in on the result to check every line is readable. No filters, no edits.
  5. 5The whole page of a bill or statement, with your name, address and the date visible.
  6. 6Names and addresses that match your Zoome profile, letter for letter. A mismatch is grounds for closure in the terms.

Card photos and your privacy

Never send the security code from the back of a bank card. If Zoome asks for a card photo, ask support which digits you may cover before you take it. Zoome's documents don't describe the upload screen, so follow the instructions in its request. Afterwards, remember where copies live: your Gallery, your Downloads folder and any cloud photo backup. Delete what you no longer need.

Zoome verification questions

Do I have to verify my Zoome account to play?

No. Zoome's FAQ says you don't need to verify to start playing. But Zoome may request verification at any time, and its terms let it check your identity before processing a payout, so expect it before your first withdrawal.

Which documents does Zoome ask for?

Its terms name passport details, identification cards, proof of residence, statements verifying the source of funds, payment proofs and utility bills, and say the list is not limited to these. Documents must be in the Latin or Cyrillic alphabet; otherwise a video verification may be required.

How long does Zoome verification take?

Zoome's FAQ says it usually takes up to 24 hours after you submit your documents. If a document is rejected, Zoome emails you with instructions on what to correct.

What happens if I don't complete verification?

If Zoome can't reach you by email or phone within two weeks of a withdrawal request, the account may be locked. Winnings may be forfeited if KYC isn't completed within 40 days. Refusing documents, or documents that don't match your details, can lead to closure and confiscation of funds.

Why should I verify my phone number at Zoome?

Phone verification in your Profile is the gate for Zoome's no-deposit spins, such as the PUSH30 code that was live in February 2026. A working number also matters during withdrawals, because Zoome's two-week rule refers to reaching you by email or phone.

Can I change the email address on my Zoome account?

No. Zoome says the registered email can't be changed. Support can add a second address for contact, or you can open a new account with the right address, in which case the old account is closed.

Get it done once, get paid sooner

Sign up with your real details, verify your phone, keep clear photos of your ID and a recent bill on hand, and answer Zoome's emails quickly. Then paperwork is far less likely to hold up a withdrawal.
