Roulette at Zoome: the tables, the maths and the bonus catch
Which wheels Zoome's lobby actually shows, why the American one costs you nearly twice as much, and why a Zoome bonus and a roulette session rarely belong together.

Roulette has its own category in Zoome's lobby, next to Baccarat and Blackjack (menu archived in August 2025), and the October 2026 menu adds a broader Table Games section. Gambling.com's Canadian review lists a few more wheels: Speed Roulette, Auto Roulette, Auto Roulette Noire and VIP Roulette. We haven't confirmed those from Zoome's own tiles, so treat them as Gambling.com's list.
Two more roulette names are worth knowing for a different reason. Zoom Roulette and VIP European Roulette are on Zoome's list of games excluded from bonus wagering, which we come back to below.
Live, auto or RNG: reading the tile
Online roulette comes in three forms. A live table is a real wheel and a real croupier, streamed from a studio; you place chips on a digital layout during a countdown, then watch the ball drop. An auto table is also a real wheel on camera, but the ball is launched by machine with no croupier, so rounds come faster. An RNG table has no video at all: a random number generator picks the pocket and an animation shows the result.
Zoome's tiles only tell you part of this. Four are clearly live: Roulette Live European and Live Auto Roulette from Platipus, Live Roulette from ICONIC21, and Evolution's Roulette. For the rest, the tile doesn't say, so open the game and look before you bet. The live studios on Zoome's November 2025 provider strip include Evolution, ICONIC21, Platipus Live and Playtech.
According to Gambling.com's Canadian review, Zoome has more than 300 live titles from 15 live providers, with live tables from about C$0.50, and "very few RNG table games", which it counts as a drawback.
Variant wheels change the maths
Some roulette variants add features to the standard wheel, such as random multipliers on certain numbers, and pay for them by changing the payout table. Names like Gravity, Blazing or 500X hint at something beyond a plain wheel, but Zoome's tiles don't say what.
So the house-edge figures below hold for a standard wheel with standard payouts. Each game's help screen lists its own payouts; read it before you assume a variant plays like classic roulette.
European vs American: one extra pocket, nearly double the edge
Same layout, same payouts, different wheel.
| European (single zero) | American (double zero) | |
|---|---|---|
| Pockets | 37: 1–36 and 0 | 38: 1–36, 0 and 00 |
| Straight-up payout | 35:1 | 35:1 |
| House edge | 2.70% (1 in 37) | 5.26% (2 in 38) |
| Long-run cost of C$100 in bets | About C$2.70 | About C$5.26 |
| At Zoome | Roulette Live European (Platipus); check other tables for a single 0 | American Roulette (Platipus) |
A single number pays 35:1 on both wheels. What changes is how many pockets that payout has to cover. A single-zero wheel has 37, and the green zero is the one the payouts ignore: 1 pocket in 37, which is where the 2.70% house edge comes from. The American wheel adds a double zero, so 2 pockets in 38 work for the house and the edge rises to 5.26%.
In plain money, over a long run C$100 of bets costs about C$2.70 on a single-zero wheel and C$5.26 on a double-zero one. Any one session can swing either way; that's the average the wheel grinds toward. If you enjoy the American table, fine, but you pay almost twice as much for the same game, so on Zoome, pick a single-zero wheel unless you have a reason not to.
Why roulette and Zoome's bonuses don't mix
Roulette counts 5% toward wagering. Here's what that does to a 40× bonus.
C$4,000
Wagering on a C$100 bonus at 40×, the multiple in Zoome's bonus terms (January 2026). On slots, that's C$4,000 of bets.
C$0.50
What a C$10 roulette bet clears at 5%. To clear C$4,000 you'd need C$80,000 of roulette bets.
C$7.50
The maximum bet while wagering, so a C$10 bet isn't even allowed. At C$7.50 each spin clears about C$0.38: close to 10,700 spins.
Zoome's general bonus rules (January 2026) count roulette at 5% toward wagering, against 100% for slots. The welcome bonus has to be wagered within three days of activation, so the numbers above aren't a slow route to clearing it; they rule it out. And at a 2.70% house edge, C$80,000 of roulette bets would cost about C$2,160 on average, more than twenty times the bonus.
Two tables don't count at all: the terms name Zoom Roulette and VIP European Roulette among games excluded from bonus wagering, and say the list isn't exhaustive. The lobby's Bonus Wagering category shows which games are allowed while a bonus is active. The bonus-abuse rules apply to table players too: bets that are a large share of your bonus balance and "volatility-focused strategies" are on the list, and abuse can void winnings.
One rule still applies without a bonus. If you withdraw after wagering less than three times your last deposit, Zoome's terms (February 2026) let it charge processing fees. Our withdrawal guide covers the rest.
Playing roulette? Skip the bonus
Zoome never applies a bonus automatically: after you deposit, a pop-up asks you to choose one, and a green "Selected" tab confirms it. If you came for the wheel, simply don't select anything. Your deposit stays real money, there's no C$7.50 cap, and no bonus wagering stands between you and a withdrawal. Bonuses are built for slots; see our slots guide and promotions if you'd rather play them.
No betting system beats the zero
Martingale (double after every loss), d'Alembert, Fibonacci, chasing "hot" numbers: none of them changes the house edge. Each spin is independent, and the edge is built into the payouts, not into the order you bet in. A system can change the shape of your results (Martingale trades many small wins for an occasional large loss) but never the average.
Progressions also hit ceilings fast. With a bonus active, Zoome caps every bet at C$7.50, and every table has its own maximum. The results board showing recent numbers is a record of the past, not a forecast. And anything sold as a roulette predictor, bot or "pattern app" is a scam: it can't see the next spin any better than you can, and Zoome's bonus terms list software and bots among banned practices. Our cheats & tips page covers what actually helps a bankroll.
Live cashback: the one perk aimed at table players
Zoome's Live Cashback is a VIP perk. Its bonus terms (January 2026) pay back a share of your net losses on the live casino over seven days, by VIP status. There's no wagering on it; it's paid on Saturdays between 00:00 and 00:09 UTC (Friday 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 7 p.m. Eastern Standard), the minimum qualifying loss is C$15, the cap is C$750, and winnings from it are limited to C$15,000. Zoome's FAQ (February 2026) speaks of "weekly live cashback of up to 10%", so the top rate is 10% or 12% depending on which page you read.
The catch is getting there. According to Zoome's VIP page (August 2025), Bronze, the first VIP status, takes deposits of 6,000 EUR and bets of 60,000 EUR in one quarter, or the Fast Track route of 1,500 EUR deposited within one casino day (UTC). Status then lasts the quarter.
For everyone else, Zoome's regular rewards lean on slots. Comp points are earned at 1 per C$30 bet on slots with real money, and the Thursday cashback is based on slots activity; as published, neither rule mentions roulette. Details on our cashback page.
| VIP status | Live cashback |
|---|---|
| Bronze | 3% |
| Silver | 5% |
| Gold | 8% |

Live roulette on a phone
A video stream with a betting timer on top is the most demanding thing you'll do in the web app.
Use Wi-Fi when you can
A live table streams video for as long as you're seated, which uses far more data than a slot. A weak signal also means a choppy picture and late bets.
Bet early in the countdown
If your connection stalls as the timer runs out, a bet placed in the last second may not make it into that round. Turn the phone sideways if the layout feels cramped.
When a round freezes
Zoome's FAQ (February 2026) says: log out, clear the cache and restart. If a bet still hasn't settled, wait 24 hours, then contact support.
Install from Chrome
Zoome's Android "app" is a web app; its code lists Opera and Firefox as browsers that can't install it. Our install guide has the steps.
Questions about roulette at Zoome
What is the house edge on Zoome's roulette tables?
On a standard single-zero (European) wheel it is 2.70%, because the zero is 1 of 37 pockets. On a double-zero (American) wheel it is 5.26%, 2 of 38. Variants with extra features change the payouts, so check each game's help screen.
Can I use a Zoome bonus to play roulette?
You can, but it rarely makes sense. Zoome's bonus terms (January 2026) count roulette at 5% toward wagering, so 40× a C$100 bonus would take C$80,000 of roulette bets, with a C$7.50 maximum bet while wagering. Zoom Roulette and VIP European Roulette are excluded altogether.
Does Zoome have American roulette?
Yes. Zoome's lobby shows an American Roulette tile from Platipus. A double-zero wheel has 38 pockets, which gives the house 5.26% instead of the 2.70% on a single-zero wheel, so a European table is the better-value choice.
Is there cashback on live roulette at Zoome?
Only for VIPs. Zoome's Live Cashback returns 3% to 12% of 7-day live-casino net losses depending on VIP status, with no wagering, a C$15 minimum loss and a C$750 cap, paid on Saturdays. The regular Thursday cashback is based on slots activity.
Do roulette betting systems work at Zoome?
No. No betting system changes the house edge: each spin is independent and the edge is built into the payouts. Progressions also run into the C$7.50 bonus bet cap and table limits. Predictor apps and bots are scams, and Zoome's bonus terms list software and bots among banned practices.
Our take
Single zero, no bonus, a budget you set first
That's the whole strategy for roulette at Zoome. Choose a single-zero table, skip the bonus pop-up, and decide what you're willing to lose before you open the app. Zoome is licensed by the Tobique Gaming Commission, not by a province, and it's for adults only: 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Québec, 19+ elsewhere in Canada.
